Garage Door Small Bead seal.

Used most commonly with Finishline brand garage doors, and also other brands of doors and some truck doors.
The bead on this seal is smaller than the common 3/16″ bead used on Taylor and other brand doors.

We recommend that you watch our Bead Seal overview video to help determine the correct bead seal for YOUR needs.

GARAGE DOOR WEATHER SEAL BEAD TYPE – GRAY

It is strongly recommended that you measure the bead of your existing seal.

This weather seal is less common, by far, than both the 3/16″ Bead and the Wayne Dalton Type seal

Pull a short length of the seal out of the bottom retainer and slice it off with a sharp knife.

If you are having difficulty determining the correct seal for your door or do not see your seal on our site, email us some photos of your seal.

Send us profile photos of the seal out of the retainer. That is the best and quickest way for us to help you.

Check out our video on this product for additional views and information.

DO NOT CONFUSE THIS SMALL BEAD SEAL WITH WAYNE DALTON SEAL, THAT CAN BE FOUND HEREWAYNE DALTON GARAGE DOOR WEATHER SEAL

This Garage Door Round Bead seal is designed to slide into a round track 0n the bottom of the garage door.
This product is for Finishline and other brand Garage Doors
The seal is perfectly round on the ends.
All weather seal is at least 2” longer than the length listed. This allows for extra length in case you need it.

Very easy to install.

I recommend you have two people do this, one person guides the seal into the track, while the second person pulls.

Clean the bottom of the door and straighten the channels if needed, the ends of the channel may have been pinched when the last seal was installed.

A wire brush does a good job of cleaning the tracks on the bottom of the door.
Lubricate channel with a WD-40 type product to make sliding the seal into the channels easy.
– Place the ribbed side to the floor, ribs help prevent freezing to the floor.
Provides better conformity to irregular floor situations.
• Stays flexible at temperatures below zero degrees.
• Seals against snow, water, dirt and wind.

It is possible to convert from this style of weather seal to the more common T style U shape simply by replacing the retainer on the bottom of the garage door.

If you have an uneven floor, or other issues sealing the garage door to the floor that this style of weather seal will not accommodate, consider replacing the retainer.
There is a wide variety of weather seal available in the T style, U shape.
Different widths, thickness, rubber and vinyl. If your door is not sealing to the floor, and this is the type of seal that is on the door, we can help you solve that issue.
